Creating your Learning Space
Let us take you through the process…
Scoping
We want to hear about your digital learning needs, we will discuss the content you wish to input into the Learning Space and begin to map out the topics. This is the instructional design phase; the level of instructional design required will be dependent on the existing learning content you have in place. During this phase we will ask to see all your existing content or and will begin the process of gathering resources. You will also need to inform us where your Learning Space will sit, for example on the web or within a Learning Management System.
Design
From here we will map content to your learning outcomes and topics, and begin to produce wireframes and storyboards to start to bring your Learning Space to life. This also includes the planning of learning tools, such as creating storyboard for videos or voiceovers and scripts podcasts. At the end of this phase you will have a clear picture as to all the content that will form your Learning Space and how these relate to achieving the intended learning outcomes. Before progressing further, we will require you to sign off on all learning content.
Development
You can take a backseat during this phase as we work our magic to bring your Learning Space to life. We will need any details of your brand colours and fonts and high resolution versions of your company logo. From here we will build your Learning Space and all accompanying learning tools and module toolkit. We may call on you if necessary to provide workplace photos, an interview for a video, or a voice on a podcast for example.
Quality check
Time to test the finished product! We will test your Learning Space on to ensure its functionality. This also includes checking all grammar, links, images and media, to ensure the end experience for the learner is seamless. Once amendments have been made, the same process is applied to the module toolkit. Once we are happy, we will send you the finished product. This will be sent as a published zip file, suitable for your intended platform. (i.e. SCORM.)
A Little Heads Up
Your finished Learning Space is delivered to you in the form of a zip file, for upload onto your LMS or web based site. The toolkit will be provided via a link. (the link is also embedded into your Learning Space.)
Please ensure your LMS is compatible with uploading SCORM files and to research your upload limit. Once the finished files and links have been delivered to you, you are responsible for uploading your content or any administrative assistance.
Of course we will provide guidance and advice where needed.
Please also note in order to get the best out of mobile view, your LMS will need to be mobile compatible.
